ARES® (Amateur Radio Emergency Service®) is organized and established by the ARRL and local ARRL elected and appointed officials. ARES® focus is on communications and community service. ARES® staffs all Red Cross shelters in Palm Beach County and provides interagency communications. ARES® members receive specialized training in emergency communications from both the ARRL and FEMA.
